Create a Profiler Based on Competencies

Creating a profiler based on competencies allows you to create a mechanism that scores candidates and employees based on predefined collections of attributes known as competencies. Similar to setting up a profiler manually, you decide which competencies you would desire to be measured and set an importance for each of them. Profilers created in this way can be useful when you are looking to hire candidates to fill an identified competency gap.

Prerequisites:

To complete this process:

  • You must have “Full access” granted to your account on the Users > Benchmarking > Profilers permission (available to Administrators and above).

How to complete this flow:

  1. In the navigation panel, go to Benchmarking > Profilers.
  2. In the top right, click the “Create new Profiler Button”.
  3. Click on the “Based on Competency” tile.
  4. Enter a name for the profiler in the free text box in the top left of the screen.
  5. Click on the competency group name to expand the group to which you want to add competencies. Using the sliders to define the importance you want to apply to the competency. A green tick mark will appear next to competencies to which an importance has been designated. Please refer to the description of “importance” available in the section introduction for more information when setting up this profiler.
  6. Click “Save changes” at the bottom of the screen to save the profiler.
