Clone a Permission Profile

You can clone permission profiles to expediate the process of creating new permission profiles. This feature is useful where you want to create a similar permission profile to one that already exists.

Prerequisites:

To complete this process:

• You must have “Full access” granted to your account for the Organisation > Permissions permission (available to Organisation Super Users and above).

How to complete this flow:

1. In the navigation panel on the left-hand side of the screen, navigate to Manage > Permissions. This will take you to a page containing the permission profile tiles.
2. Click on the ellipsis on the tile of the permission profile you wish to change and click the “Clone profile” button.
3. Click “Clone” on the confirmation popup to create a clone of the permission profile. This will be added to your permission profile list, with the original profile’s name appended with “_clone”.

Please note: You will only be able to see, and therefore clone, permission profiles of your current permission level and below.
