Do people still think there is a cognitive, emotional or behavioural gender difference to price in when hiring or appraising?
We know there is no real difference in the brains of male and females – more the environmental influences your grow up in that shape your behaviour, choice of language and way of thinking.
It amazes me that employers still make judgements about a person’s ‘gender’ when what they should be focusing on are the human and hard skills needed for the job.
Help us remove the bias and prejudice from hiring and be objective and focused on the attributes that are needed for the role.
