Do people still think there is a cognitive, emotional or behavioural gender difference to price in when hiring or appraising?
We know there is no real difference in the brains of male and females – more the environmental influences your grow up in that shape your behaviour, choice of language and way of thinking.
It amazes me that employers still make judgements about a person’s ‘gender’ when what they should be focusing on are the human and hard skills needed for the job.
